Extractions PDF  | Print |  E-mail
Your teeth can be extracted with the use of local anesthesia although some patients prefer to be sedated for the procedure. With local anesthesia you would receive an injection to numb the involved area. If you choose sedation, medicines would be given through an IV to produce a semi-conscious or unconscious state. Then, you will receive numbing injections once asleep.
